About the Role
- Undertake education and quality activities, including data verification and clinical documentation queries to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of inpatient data. Participate in the Clinical Coding Quality Program to ensure a high standard of coding accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Actively support the improvement of clinical coding accuracy by participating in Health Information Management Service (HIMS) quality activities relating to morbidity data collection. This includes clinical coding and DRG allocation, coding audit, end of month data validation processes, clinical documentation queries, system, and other quality activities as required.
