**About the role**

Based at the Garden Island Defence base (with hybrid working options), you will manage the weekly tasks and data inputs required in the Defence system AIMS (Advanced Inventory Management System) to support Babcock and SPO (Defence's Systems Program Offices) plan materials.

In this position you will provide data to assist the Demand Planner and Inventory Controller to make accurate purchasing decisions which will be actioned by the Procurement team. This will ensure materials are available for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and to replenish Australian Defence Force stock holdings of inventory.

**About you**

You will bring a high level of data accuracy within inventory control, demand planning, procurement or similar, preferably from the Defence industry. You will have the ability to analyse data and input into reporting systems.

You will be a team player with the ability to own and deliver your tasks and goals to achieve success and manage daily operation schedules with conflicting priorities.
- Ideally you will have:_
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a current Defence security clearance (essential) with a current Baseline preferred
- Strong analytic, data recording skills
- Previous MILIS and AIMS system experience (preferred)
- Prior experience or knowledge working in the Defence industry (preferred)
