**About Us**

Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.

**About the role**

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technical Officer to support the Gas Transmission delivery team in safely operating and maintaining the Gas Transmission assets, Renewable Gases and Distribution systems.

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Support project works including design input and review, HAZOP and HAZID attendance, integration into existing facilities and commissioning
- Provide technical support for all Hot tap & Line stopping activities
- Assist with technical support, project coordination and working with engineering and technicians to resolve complex technical field issues
- Organising resources as required and maintaining inventory of all plant & equipment
- Respond to incidents and assist team members in emergency response situations
- Delivery of Corrective works program and carrying out facility auditing
- Being able to drive safety culture and implement safety processes and systems to ensure consistently safe delivery of work

**About You**
- Capable of planning work, organising resources and to lead the maintenance activities to ensure effective quality completion of work
- Prioritise work and respond immediately to changing circumstances and demands
- Self-starter with good interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy skills
- Willing to work in teams, but able to work effectively as an individual
- Mechanical/Engineering trade qualification; Certificate in Instrumentation & Control (Cert III or above); Hot Tap & Line stopping Qualified; Valid Driver’s licence and Hazardous Area awareness qualified
