In this role you will manage the credit control function across all lines of business for Pacific.

This is a standalone role reporting directly into APAC credit Director. You will liaise between Shared Service Centre’s across India and China and the business to **maximise collection, Minimise Risk, Implement metrics, systems and procedures to improve the collections and processes.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Collections and Credit Functions for Pacific
- Risk Management - Credit Analysis of new customers
- Process Improvement -design, and resolve all rouble shooting
- Develop risk models to provide insights and forecasts enabling clients to better manage their risks
- Contribute to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group
- Financial Analysis and reporting - evaluate cash capacity
- Support management in the pro-active consideration of the risk and control implications of key projects and change management initiatives to drive the timely and cost-effective incorporation of future controls
- Legal management
- Maintain visibility of outstanding payments for all branches.
- Track queries raised, recording both finish rates and who is responsible for responding to each query.
- Reporting:

- Daily collection tracking
- Month End: Detailing open and close dates and the value of collections for that month.

**What we look for**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally with exposure to offshore functions
- Good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written. Able to focus on big picture and turning complex topics into simple concepts.
- Ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem solver with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Tech savvy with advanced skills in financial modelling using Excel and other BI tools.
