Every day, Suncare employees are making a difference to real people and making people's lives better. **Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?** This is a rewarding community-based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking Casual Support Workers to provide support to our customers located in the Brisbane North Purple. Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically performed between 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday. The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks. **About you** A background and qualification in community services is advantageous, but just as important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values. For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's Licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
