We are looking for an enthusiastic analyst who has a passion for numbers and shoes. Primarily working with retail and supply chain, the merchandise allocator will provide reporting and analysis data to assist the company in making effective business decisions.

**ABOUT THE ROLE....**
The **Merchandise **Analyst's** primary role is to maximise our efficiency and productivity. They are responsible for daily data analysis and processing, for ensuring the Retail & Distribution Centre is running at optimum efficiency**.** This includes daily workflow planning and administration as well as seasonal space and workforce planning. As part of the National Support Team, you will play your role in ensuring that **SPENDLESS SHOES** will continue to be the friendliest shoe people in the world
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES...**
- Conduct regular reviews of warehouse inventory to minimise idle stock and ensure efficient allocation.
- Generate and distribute comprehensive daily, weekly and monthly reports, providing valuable insights to the business.
- Perform sales and stock analysis across various parameters, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Verify the accuracy of all managed reports before dissemination to management and the wider team.
- Develop forecasts and conduct regular reviews and analysis of sales and inventory performance, including aged stock and current inventory.
- Analyze actual sales against the planned forecast, making recommendations accordingly
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute effective strategies.
**YOUR SKILLS...**
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in fashion, business, economics or finance is preferred; open to recent graduates with a focus on fashion or business studies.
- Retail experience will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, formulas and pivot tables.
- Thrives under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines with precision.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, high organisational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capable of multitasking and excellent at problem-solving.
