**About the role**:
Forklift Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift for the purposes of loading and unloading vehicles and moving freight to and from storage areas. They must ensure that trucks are loaded in accordance with the load sheet, all stabilisation equipment is used as required and fridge motor temperatures are set correctly and checked prior to vehicle departure.

**Duties you can expect with this role include**:

- Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack items in the warehouses
- Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when loading trailers
- Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment
- Being mindful of equipment to identify wear and maintenance requirements
- Performing stock takes as required
- Primarily loading and unloading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers and rail boxes for distribution

**Available rosters**:

- Monday - Friday commencing at 12:00pm

**About the requirements**:

- Have a valid forklift licence
- Follow processes and procedures
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to the role
- Have clear communication and writing skills
- Have a can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical check-up including a drug and alcohol test
- Have two years experience in a similar role
- Be safety conscious

Past experience pick packing fresh, frozen or chilled produce is well respected for this role.
