Ambient Mechanical Services Pty Ltd is a privately owned commercial HVAC &
Mechanical Services company based in Hillsdale, Sydney. We specialise in

commercial office fit-out and central plant infrastructure upgrade projects, with

a typical project value ranging from $100k - $5.0 m. With continuing company

growth, we require an experienced sheet metal worker to join our Construction

Division.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Understanding & analysis of drawings to determine materials required for projects
- Site measuring of sheetmetal components
- Installation of ductwork and sheetmetal plenums
- Selection of appropriate metal stock and ductwork in a variety of metals and ensuring gauge/thickness complies with specification
- Cutting and folding sheetmetal stock into products
- Fitting and assembly various sheetmetal parts into position onsite (including modifications where required)
- Repairing damaged sheetmetal products

**Skills and experience**
- A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate IV or higher, is preferred.
- Alternatively, at least three years of demonstrable experience as a sheet metal worker or fabricator is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Proven adherence to work health and safety & quality assurance policies and procedures
- A collaborative and team-focused approach

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sheet metal: 2 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
