**The opportunity**:
We have an exciting casual opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive and collaborative team at Mulgrave Private Hospital. You’ll make a daily difference to the lives of patients and deliver exceptional pharmacy services to the hospital.

You will be working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of experienced and enthusiastic pharmacists who are excited to share their knowledge, guidance and support, through hands-on structured training.

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Assist with retail ordering and reconciliation
- Assist with S2/S3 sales
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries

Our pharmacy provides a wide range of medications, alongside expert advice delivered by an experienced pharmacy team. The pharmacy specialises in general health and wellbeing, cardiac services, post-op recovery and support care.

**_Eligibility Requirements:_**
- Previous experience dispensing medication
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Knowledge of S2/S3 medications
