Architectural Draftsperson

Beaches Custom Construction specialises in creating beautiful living environments on the Northern Beaches and North Shore of Sydney. We are looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsperson who can join our team ASAP.

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing, editing drawings
- Coordinating pre-production planning
- Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details
- Communicating with customers, obtaining approvals and regular follow-ups
- Liaise with construction industry professionals - project managers, builders, architects, quantity surveyors
- Liaising with suppliers for all orders and lead times
- Determine and maintain quality standards checklists and processes
- Equipment maintenance requirements, schedules, and records

**Required skills and experience**
- Industry recognised diploma or tertiary degree in Architecture or Design
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar filed
- Strong construction detailing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of relevant building codes
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent Documentation software skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
