** About the Role**:
Join our team as a Grants/Research Support Coordinator on a Fixed Term part time (60.8 hours/4 days), fixed term (till Nov2026)
The primary purpose of this role is to support, enable and help grow the grant income at MCHRI and to coordinate across MCHRI research programs.Coordination, development, budgeting, submission and reporting support in large grants at MCHRI
- Development of standard processes, templates etc to streamline grant management
- Development of a repository of key information on methods, budgets and core staff CVs,
- Assisting in efforts to enhance translation and impact from the research with the Comms and translation lead
- Oversight of grant related activities especially for the MCHRI director-

MCHRI sits under the Facility of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. MCHRI is a collaborative partnership between Monash University and Monash Health. MCHRI utilises public health research as well as the translation and implementation of clinical, health services and public health knowledge, underpinned by cross sector end user engagement, to deliver health impact. MCHRI is the base for the new maternity Learning Health System (LHS), embedding research and maternal healthcare provision, to drive unprecedented, sustainable national improvement in maternity care and health outcomes for women and newborns. MCHRI works with broader reach across Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre, nationally and internationally in our research and translation endeavours. Our vision is to create, synthesise, implement and translate clinical, health care and public health knowledge, underpinned by cross sector end user engagement, to deliver health impact. MCHRI has led organisational and individual leadership support programs in healthcare for nearly a decade.-
- **About You**:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

- An under graduate science or health related degree and postgraduate qualification involving research and experience in preparing submissions to NHMRC or MRFF-
- Technical skills/ knowledge / experience
- Evidence of research experience
- Demonstrated skills and experience in large research projects or teams
- Excellent communication skills, including a proven ability to produce a range of clear, succinct documentation and interact with a diversity of stakeholders and colleagues.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time, plan work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage, such as taking initiative, working to tight timelines and managing a range of work tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a collaborative and collegial manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, privacy and information handling principles
- Well-developed computer skills, with experience and demonstrated skills in using Microsoft Office
