Wood is recruiting for a E&I Construction Supervisor (Oil & Gas) to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a permanent role to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to the recently securing several large projects with existing long-term clients, in addition to a new and significant brownfields engineering opportunity with a major player in the LNG industry.

Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, Southeast Asia and Kazakhstan.

You will be reporting directly to the Construction & Commissioning Manager. To be successful in your role, you will have prior commissioning experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering environment with both onshore and offshore scope of work engagements.

Your scope and responsibilities will be:

- Creating access workpacks
- Input into construction feasibility studies for the project
- Chairing constructability reviews
- Providing inputs into schedule and estimates
- Coordinating with personnel offshore

Suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognized institution, ideally you will have a trade background in Electrical and Instrumentation although a tertiary qualification will also be considered along with 7+ years field experience within the oil & gas industry, preference would be currently working in a similar office-based role (Engineering / EPCM office).
- Valid WA Electrical License
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation
- BOSIET (or equivalent)
- OGUK Medical - ability to pass or hold valid medical
- MSIC
- Company mandatory training (Induction, Risk Assessment etc)
- Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV)
- HAZID / HAZOP Training
