Investment Compliance Analyst

Melbourne- Asset Management- Contract or TemporaryOur client is a leading superannuation fund seeking a Senior Investment Compliance Analyst to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.
This position is an **investment compliance-focused operations** position working as part of a small team that completes investment compliance, investment operational risk, operational due diligence and other investment regulatory compliance work.
The ideal applicant will be immediately available for this interim contract, and have a background in operational investment compliance or investment ops risk.
**Principal accountabilities**:
- Operational Due Diligence responsibilities related to investment compliance, and review of external fund managers. Including fund manager ops risk and due diligence reviews.
- Broader support for the Portfolio Compliance team, including support for the Portfolio Compliance Manager and GM - Investment Operations.
**Qualifications/ Knowledge**:
- Undergraduate qualifications in finance, commerce, risk management, legal or other related discipline.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and risks
- Understanding of transaction lifecycles of listed assets (equities, debt and cash) and unlisted assets (pooled investment vehicles and direct)
- Knowledge of investment manager operational frameworks and leading practices
**This will be paid initially on an hourly or daily rate, with a potential to convert to a full perm employee, depending on good performance.
