Head of Project Controls

**About The Role**

We are looking for a permanent full time Head of Project Controls to manage the project controls aspect of major renewable projects as well as project controls of the current fleet.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Manage the end-to-end cost, schedule, risk & opportunity, and quality assurance from development initiation through construction and handover to Operations.
- Collaborating with the ESO finance team to provide cost reports.
- Lead, manage, and coordinate with Development Manager/Project Manager/Project Director throughout the development and construction phase.
- Monitor, review, and evaluate the project management system processes, policies, and tools to ensure it is fit-for purpose and seek ways to continually improve its efficiency.
- Develop and deliver reporting on the 5-year capital project and contracts forecast for the Generation and Development business.
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities in field of practice via personal action and team engagement

**Is this you?**

To be considered for this role you will showcase a passion for project management and the ability to build exceptional relationships with their peer group, direct reports, the extended Generation and Development lead team, and all internal and external stakeholders.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

- Demonstrable people and cultural leadership delivery of team engagement outcomes
- Management experience relevant to Project Controls, with a sound knowledge and hands on experience in Planning Cost budgeting & forecasting and quality.
- Manage quantitative monthly Risk & Opportunity.
- Exceptional tenure and knowledge of renewables and/or storage generation industry
- Demonstrable experience in developing professional relationships and effectively work with personnel across departments in an integrated organisation in performance of duties.
- Availability for frequent interstate travel.
