The role

Your role will involve overseeing and managing data linkage projects to empower the unit in planning and prioritizing initiatives. Cultivate and nurture positive networks and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across both state and Commonwealth health sectors.
In addition to project management, you will provide invaluable support to the Unit by offering timely and expert advice to high-ranking officials such as the Minister, Director-General, and representatives of state and national government committees on critical data linkage initiatives. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting state and national data linkage-related committees, including coordinating briefings to inform complex service and project delivery. Your adept interpersonal and negotiation skills will be instrumental in advancing data linkage initiatives on both state and national levels, contributing significantly to the unit's overarching goals and priorities. Successful performance in this role necessitates exceptional interpersonal skills and adept written communication capabilities at a strategic level. This includes a demonstrated ability to effectively engage and influence various stakeholders, both internal and external, while fostering constructive relationships and networks. Moreover, a record of accomplishment of leading projects or initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of healthcare service delivery is essential.
Furthermore, proficiency in advanced project management is crucial, encompassing the establishment of robust governance structures, task definition, prioritization, and efficient coordination to meet deadlines consistently. Demonstrated success in delivering sustained outcomes is paramount. Additionally, possessing advanced expertise in data-related domains, including comprehension of data access governance and data linkage, is required.
