An opportunity has become available for a Strategic Asset Planner within their Integrated Solutions Group.
The Integrated Solutions Group contributes to Urban Utilities' purpose and vision and enhances the liveability of their communities through safeguarding financial and economic sustainability of the business, planning to meet the needs of their customers and management of the long-term water cycle and our environmental responsibilities.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Asset Planning, the Strategic Asset Planner supports the development and maintenance of strategic asset management plans that ensure delivery against servicing strategy, realise value generation and enhance liveability markers for our communities. The strategic asset management plans aim to adapt and validate policy, servicing strategy and actual performance informing how our assets are organised and prioritises integrated plans to develop investment pathways.

About the Role

Support the strategic asset plan design and architecture to support UU's servicing strategy;
Support the development of facility and equipment lifecycle strategies and plans to enable development of asset specific 30-year lifecycle TOTEX profiles to inform strategic asset planning scenario modelling and water cycle economics;
Assist in the development of strategic business cases leveraging data analytics, financial and economic models through governance and approvals processes; and

Engage with key stakeholders to ensure relevant inputs, assumptions and requirements are identified and mutually supported.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Planning, Science or a related discipline with several years of experience;
General experience in the water, energy or resources industry;
Experience in managing complex and diverse strategic planning programs within budget and on time whilst maintain an excellent customer service and commercial focused approach; and

Demonstrated capacity to establish and develop effective relationships with customers through the determination of needs, management of processes and delivery standards, instigation of continuous review and the development of staff competencies.
