**About the Role**:
This position supports in the facilitation of innovative STEM learning experiences, in collaboration with partner secondary schools, teachers, industry, community and educational institutions. Design thinking provides the framework for each learning experience and ensures students develop an awareness of careers in the strategic sectors, the hands-on skills to use emerging technologies and opportunities to develop their cognitive and social capabilities.

**Duties**:

- Provide sound advice in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) specialist expertise, to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences for secondary students that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, using a variety of facilitation methods to cater to diverse learning styles
- Manage programs and projects that contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies that assist students, teachers, career practitioners, and the broader community about the future of education, work and the economy
- Support and motivate team members to build cooperation to achieve the objectives set by the Tech School

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Education qualification - Graduate Degree; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education or training
- Current registration or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the facilitation of STEM-based learning experiences, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication ability
- High level organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated experience in conceptual and analytical ability and strong skills in problem solving and project management
- Working with children check (Employee) and a new Police Check clearance is required for this role
