**The Company**

They currently have a need for a Site based Quality Supervisor on a permanent basis which is a fantastic opportunity to step up into a leadership role.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Food Safety and Quality Programs are kept to high standards;
- Maximize product quality and productivity by ensuring QA processes are operating at prime conditions and at best practice.
- Assist with audits reflecting compliance to HACCP, FSSC, DFSV, AQIS/QAP as well as customer audit standards.
- Oversee clearances and required assessments.
- Lead on corrective and preventive action program via NCR process.
- Ensure risk assessments are performed for raw materials and packaging items and have relevant inspections planned.
- Continually drive change through and continuous improvement in QA processors.
- Ensure risk assessments are performed as well as have relevant inspections planned.

**Your Background**

To be successful in this role you will draw upon your experience;
- Throughout your degree in a relevant area such as Food Science or similar
- Working in a similar, food manufacturing environment and have a track record in hands on Quality Assurance positions.
- Proven experience in a similar role within FMCG of meat/poultry manufacturing.
- Experience implementing Food Safety and Quality systems.
- Proven audit experience relating to Food Safety and Quality Systems.
