**What You'll Be Doing**

As an apprentice, you'll learn the ropes (literally) while working alongside qualified arborists on a wide variety of tree care jobs. You’ll receive on-the-job training while working toward your **Certificate III in Arboriculture**, supported every step of the way.
- Assisting with tree pruning, removal, and vegetation management
- Learning safe use of chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, rigging gear and elevated work platforms
- Understanding how to assess tree health and identify hazards
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised work site
- Learning to perform equipment safety checks and basic maintenance
- Supporting the team with day-to-day tasks, and always putting safety first
- Delivering great customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude

**What We’re Looking For**

You don’t need previous arboriculture experience - just the right mindset and motivation to succeed.
- A genuine interest in arboriculture, the environment, and outdoor work
- A proactive attitude - you take initiative and enjoy learning new things
- Physically fit, reliable and ready to work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow directions and procedures
- Willingness to commit to completing a Certificate III in Arboriculture

**Required**:

- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

**Bonus if you have (but not essential)**:

- Chainsaw operation experience or ticket
- Any previous experience in landscaping, gardening or tree work
