**_ This is a wonderful opportunity to work as a Senior Medical Officer in a new multi-disciplinary service Head to Health Kids Hub providing support to children up to the age of 12 years with developmental, behavioural and mental health concerns._**
The ISLHD Head to Health Kids Hub (Kids Hub) is a new service jointly funded by Commonwealth Department of Health and NSW Health to provide early intervention mental health and wellbeing clinical services. The service is to be delivered in line with Kids Hub National Service Model and the ISLHD Kids Hub Model of Care.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Specialist registration or eligible for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians - Paediatric and Child Health Division and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
- Experience in assessing and managing children with developmental, behavioural and mental health issues within a multidisciplinary team.
- Training and experience in using developmental and behavioural assessment and screening tools.
- Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position and experience in and commitment to research relevant to the role and needs of the service.
- Proven capacity and/or experience in the provision of effective high quality services, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality improvement activities relevant to the specialty.
