**The opportunity**
We have a part-time generalist HRBP type role available, including with a client based at Milton 2 days per week - family owned SMB engineering consultancy firm. The role has a focus on operational HR and business partnering while Harrisons supports you with mentoring, professional development, templates, and a team of link-minded HR professionals.

If you want to work more than 2 days per week then you we have other clients needing your HR expertise.

You will work on-site with our client and report to our Head of HR Team Services. Priorities are defined in the HR Plan developed from our HR Health Check, and will include:

- Advising, coaching and training managers on the full range of HR management areas, including performance management, leadership development, FWA and Award terms and conditions, attraction and retention.
- Resourcing strategy - attracting, selecting and onboarding new team members for clients. Including developing EVP/Employer Brand strategies with clients to address current sourcing challenges.
- Facilitating employee engagement surveys and action planning, HR Health Checks and developing HR Plans with a focus on culture, compliance, and upskilling managers.
- Managing HR/ER/L&D projects such as employee engagement surveys, developing position descriptions, P&Ps, performance and development reviews, remuneration reviews, and HRIS implementation.

**About you**
You have a passion for helping businesses and leaders to develop their best team and best business, as well:

- You are an experienced generalist HR professional and/or external HR consultant who is flexible enough to understand and meet the different needs of clients.
- You love business partnering, hands-on HR support, influencing, coaching and relationship-building with leaders, as well as writing an excellent letter of advice/report/internal comms.
- You have experience across a range of industries such as professional services, construction, and/or manufacturing.
- You will likely hold a tertiary qualifications in business, OD, HR/ER, psych, employment law or similar.
