**Job Tasks and Responsibilities** Junior Warehouse Assistant

We require an efficient and energetic _Junior Warehouse Assistant_ with a Can-Do Attitude to assist with our regular warehouse operations. Day time hours apply.

We’re currently a small team and you’ll be working closely with our warehouse supervisor. Primary activities include sorting and stacking boxes, preparing orders, receiving stock and supplies, stock counts, loading and unloading trucks and other vehicles, operating machinery, completing stock forms and general warehouse and housekeeping duties.

The ability to work quickly and consistently is essential as this job involves repetitive and regular physical work, which not only helps pass the time but might even save you on gym fees.

In addition, you may also be required to perform other ad hoc duties in keeping with your skills and experience, such as delivering an urgent order or collecting the mail.

A strong work ethic is a necessity and ideally, you’ll satisfy the following requirements.

- Reliable and hard working
- Physically strong and fit, and able to perform regular or repetitive manual labour tasks
- Capable communicator (in English)
- Well presented
- Safety conscious
- Flexibility with tasks given
- Valid Driver’s Licence preferable
- Forklift Licence an advantage but not essential
