This fashion is currently seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser to join their Melbourne team

**Your new company**

Worldwide iconic Australian fashion brand known for its fashion forward styles.

**Your new role**
- Developing and executing the VM strategy to support season direction
- Improving brand perception
- Building strong internal relationships with marketing, planning and store teams
- In stock mock-ups and communication of new strategies to store teams
- Implementing and executing monthly briefs; Point of Sale, impulse areas etc.
- Facilitating new store openings and refurbishments
- Implementing and executing monthly and weekly briefs, point of sale, impulse areas etc.
- Checking of weekly store photo's and addressing any issues with store presentations
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (office based, no work from home)

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous VM experience in retail within fashion, footwear or apparel preferably.
Minimum two years VM experience
- The ability to think analytically and discuss and react to sales results
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams
- Ability to work in a fast, high pressure environment
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite - Intermediate skills (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign) Office Suite - Advanced Skills (ie PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
- Must have own car and current driver's licence
