Security and Car Park Team Leader

In these newly created full-time roles, based at either Epworth Eastern, Epworth Freemasons, Epworth Geelong or Epworth Richmond, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Car Park and contracted Security Guard teams and the Control Room Operators (Richmond only). You will be part of the Security and Car Park team and report to the Group Security and Car Park Manager.

**You will make an impact by**:

- Ensuring the Security and Car Park team at your respective site is well equipped and capable of delivering an efficient Car Park service and a safe and secure environment for our patients, doctors, tenants, visitors, and staff.
- To work with the contracted Security Guard service provider to ensure they have the necessary information, policy & protocols to allow their staff to provide the Security service expected by Epworth.
- Working with the Car Park & Security to ensure the financial process associated with the car park are managed effectively and efficiently to provide Epworth with robust reporting for all monies collected.

**To be successful in this role**

You will be an effective team leader, supporting and motivating the Security and Car Park Teams toward success; able to communicate with contracted staff, hospital employees, doctors and the various Executive throughout Epworth. You must be a self-motivated individual with a professional work ethic who will lead by example and thus contribute to Epworth’s service excellence in patient centred care.

**You will have**:

- At least 2 years’ experience as a Security Guard in a hospital setting.
- A Security License - Level 4
- Experience and a working knowledge of Car Park operations, CCTV systems, Fire Systems, Lift Systems, Security access control/card systems, Photo ID systems and Control Room experience.
- A demonstrated understanding and knowledge of required security practices within a hospital environment.
- A demonstrated understanding of the Car Park Service function.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership experience will be viewed favourably.
