Are you looking for a new job opportunity?

Adventure Team is seeking an NDIS Cleaner to join our growing team in New Farm with availability to start immediately. The role is initially 2 shifts a week initially. This would suit someone looking for additional hours from their current work, someone looking for limited hours, or somebody willing to let hours build over time as they gain more experience in the role. This would be between 4-8 hours per week initially. Unconventional experience welcome

**About Us**

Since forming in 2019, we’ve grown from a team of 2 on the Gold Coast in Queensland to many, and we are in the process of expanding our services in New Farm. We are a disability support company, helping people living with disabilities through providing mentoring, group and respite services. As a team we are strongly driven to help others and offer personalised services centered around pushing boundaries, building hobbies and routine, and encouraging adventure.

**About the Opportunity**

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, and general tidying
- Laundry and changing bed linens
- Following NDIS safety and hygiene guidelines
- Maintaining clear notes and reporting back to the support team

**About You**:

- Prior experience in domestic cleaning (professional or personal)
- Understanding of working in homes with people with disability (NDIS experience preferred)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively under high stress situations
- Ability to work autonomously, use your own initiative and be both proactive and adaptable

**Must have or willingness to obtain**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Current Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
