Sydney, Australia Scape Full time

**WHO WE ARE?**

Scape’s vision is to be the Earth’s best living company (so you can see straight off the bat we are a conservative bunch). We are a leading provider of student accommodation in Australia. We currently have the capacity to provide a home to 15,000 students (and are growing) and we don't simply provide a bed and roof; we also provide a unique, amazing experience and a safe environment to help students make the most of their studies.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

We are seeking an experience and proactive Regional Facilities Manager who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. This is an exciting role that will join our exponentially growing business.

Based in Sydney and focused on our NSW portfolio, the Regional Facilities Manager will work closely with Scape’s building and residents to provide a consistently high-quality experience for our residents.

As the successful Regional Facilities Manager, you will lead the state-based Facilities department, that is, the frontend and backend teams. The role will lead Scape’s state portfolio’s environmental and sustainability implementation, oversee asset management functions for 15 properties, and departmental operating budget whilst playing a key role in maintaining positive relationships with the internal and external stakeholders of the business.

The role of Regional Facilities Manager requires the below attributes:

- Relevant qualifications combined with significant, broad on-the-job-experience
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritise issues
- Develop, manage and control budget, capital projects and resident improvement projects.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate to customers
- Possesses excellent negotiation, delegation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills that promote positive interactions with stakeholders and residents
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and energy for Scape with a proven ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional boundaries

**PERKS OF WORKING WITH SCAPE**

At Scape, we are all about creating and sharing the good vibes. Below are just some of the scape-tastic perks of joining our team:

- A day off to celebrate your birthday, however you want
- A recharge day (known affectionately as a Bueller Day)
- ‘Escapes’ - stay at any of our buildings in any state for up to 5 nights free of charge
- Referral bonuses
- EAP, Sonder & Duress support

**THE FINE PRINT**
- At Scape we honour and welcome our rich heritage and contributions of First Nations and Indigenous peoples. Our workplace embraces diversity and strives to create an inclusive environment that respects and values your culture, traditions, and perspectives. Join us in building a harmonious and empowered community where everyone's voice is heard and celebrated._

This is a great time to be joining a growing business, that is willing and able to make a difference for our residents (predominately students), stakeholders and the community as a whole.

**No agencies, please.**
