The Role:
Our Govt client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Economic Modeller and Insights Team Leader to join their dynamic team.
As the Economic Modeller and Insights Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing:
- Leadership, control, planning,
- Resource management, performance management,
- Decision making for the Team Membership,
- Assigned Contractors working within the work area.
You will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
- Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Leading and conducting
- the development of partial equilibrium modelling, economic analysis,
- the setting & management of market interventions, including price controls.
- Providing quantitative evidence to support the development and implementation of the organisation's market and pricing strategies including:
- interventions, monitoring and stewardship.
- Working collaboratively and effectively across teams and departments
- Leading the development of the partial economic modelling framework.
- Providing project management oversight for the development of key projects, mainly economic model development.
- Understanding the strategy and the changing needs of the organisation.
- Capturing business requirements and identifying underlying business needs.
- Carrying out analysis of present processes and identifying opportunities to enhance processes
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure appropriate stakeholders are included in the development and revision of process models.
- Identifying and documenting instances where existing business processes may be streamlined or improved.
- Developing, maintaining and distributing business process documentation to stakeholders.
- Input to the design and implementation of reports, dashboards and alerts.
- Liaising with management to coordinate process improvement project activities.
