We are currently seeking an experienced and responsible Warehouse Storeperson, with high reach forklift licence, to work on a full time basis. Reporting to our Warehouse Team Leader, the primary purpose of this position is to accurately pick, load and deliver product in an efficient, timely and safe manner. Some of the key responsibilities in this busy role include:
- Ensuring customers’ orders are picked and packed as directed;- Receipting, unloading and designating stock items;- Maintaining accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities;- Carrying out quality control checks including counting and recording stock figures;- Submitting all documents that are related to the incoming and outgoing materials;- Processing invoices, transport consignments and credit notes as directed; and- Assisting with opening and closing of the warehouse.- Higher School Certificate or equivalent, with 2-3 years’ work experience in a busy Warehouse environment;- Current gas and electric forklift and high reach experience and licence is mandatory;- Knowledge of a variety of production equipment (including tools, fixtures and storage equipment);- The physical ability to load and unload, pick and pack items weighing up to 30kg;- An enthusiastic approach to their work, with a keen eye for safety;- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and take direction;- Basic numeracy skills and computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheets and databases);- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload;- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision; and- The desire to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team.
