We are seeking a passionate and motivated self-starter with experience using GIS to administer, maintain, develop and implement standards, policies and best practice processes to ensure operational effectiveness, security and integrity of the Engineering Geographic Information and related datasets.
**About the role**:
- Provide specialist technical advice and support for a range of special-purpose activities and projects
- Management of GIS data and database administration
- Problem solve complex database problems using analysis of information to ensure continuity of GIS services
- Assist the Geospatial Analyst in administrating spatial asset datasets of water, wastewater, roads and stormwater.

- **We are seeking**:
- Degree qualification in GIS or a related discipline and/or significant industry experience working with Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Information.
- Knowledge of principles, standards and techniques associated with data management in a corporate environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Describe your high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff and external personnel at all levels.
- Describe your experience in the documentation and implementation of procedures and policies to ensure a high level of integrity in corporate GIS information.
- Describe your experience working with LiDAR and aerial photography.
