About our Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced forklift operator to join the team at Detmold Packaging in a permanent part-time position, based at our Regency Factory.

About you

We are seeking a safety conscious team player with experience performing tasks including but not limited to; pallet wrapping, loading and unloading of trucks, transferring raw materials and finished goods to and from machines to racking areas, general cleaning and housekeeping duties.

To be considered for this position, you should:

- Take safety seriously, with a demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Have experience operating a forklift, preferably in tight environments
- Hold a current high-risk and driver’s license
- Have experience using RF scanning
- Basic understanding of Kanban system - _desirable_
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have sound computer skills
- Have a can-do attitude and good attention to detail
- Have previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment - _desirable_
