Our client manufactures mainly for the Australian market and is one of the market leaders in composite products and equipment. our Client has built an excellent reputation for quality products and services and has a pro-active approach to product development.

An opportunity has arisen in our Composite production facility. An immediate start is offered. This position is a permanent one..

The role is varied and includes;
- Pour Resin
- Manufacturing structural components using vacuum infusion techniques
- Manufacturing composite parts using hand laminating techniques
- Being responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and storage of mould tools
- Cutting materials such as fibreglass and vacuum bagging materials as required
- Manufacturing of moulds, jigs and fixtures as required in the development of processes for new and existing products
- Marking out, cutting and shaping of composite parts to engineering drawings
- Assembling composite parts and structures with a variety of materials and techniques
- Repairing composite components as required
- Spraying gelcoat, sanding and detailing parts
- Working as part of a team to achieve production goals and deadlines
- Working in a safe manner by complying with all health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines

Skills and attributes required
- Applicant must have experience working with composite materials previously
- Experience setting up and operating vacuum infusion equipment desirable
- Experience working with Epoxy resin systems and polyester gelcoats desirable
- Experience using power tools such as drills, angle grinders, saws etc necessary
- Must have the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
- Strong personal commitment to safety and completing processes in full
- Numeracy and communication skills necessary
- Planning, organisational and time management skills necessary
- Must be able to work as part of a team or solo as required
- Must hold Australian work rights
- Must hold a Current full driver’s license
- Forklift license desirable

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
