Maintenance Fitter

**We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our team, to perform the following tasks**:

- Repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment
- Scheduling and completing jobs in accordance with our Preventative Maintenance Program
- Ad hoc maintenance jobs, including breakdowns and unscheduled work.

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience (desirable)
- Welding experience (desirable)
- Forklift and Overhead Gantry Crane Licenses (desirable)
- Experience in repairing and maintaining production plant and equipment
- A love for learning about machines, repairing them and improving efficiency
- A safety-first mentality
- The ability to foster a positive team environment
- An ability to use personal initiative in your role
- Must be physically fit, reliable, have attention to detail and a tidy worker

**Must be able to work 38 hrs per week plus additional overtime as required.**

**This position is a full-time role with a six month probation period.**

Short listed applicants must have a current Driver’s License and supply Trade Certificates at interview.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Trade certifcate (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

- Australia (required)
