Rapid Employment Group is seeking for a Mechanical Assembler for a specialist engineering business. Our client will provide tools, equipment and solutions to many high-profile projects and customers across all industries, throughout Australia and overseas.
**About the Job**
We are offering the right person 38 hours per week, Full-time Contract for an immediate start.
- General assembly and maintenance,
- Servicing & repairing equipment,
- Machining parts,
- You will need to have excellent machining skills, be able to work to tight tolerances, read technical drawings accurately, and have strong mechanical aptitude,
- Experience in Stainless Steel pipe welding is advantageous
**What you'll need**
- Demonstrated machining skills
- Mechanical fitting
- Clear communication skills
- Troubleshooting ability
- Lathe and milling skills to a 0.02 mm accuracy
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- OHS training and work safe practices
- Clear communication skills
- Drivers licence
- Preferred forklift licence
- Stable and relevant employment history

**Salary**: From $45.00 per hour
