**Unite Resourcing** has been engaged by one of our clients who specialise in the design, fabrication, and on-site support services of wear protection systems, to source a qualified Boilermaker to join their Wangara team.

Our client offers a wide array of wear and impact solutions that have been thoroughly researched and carefully selected to minimize the impact of wear and impact on material handling operations. Their extensive range includes cutting-edge ceramic liners, coatings, and epoxies, as well as more common metallic wear liners. Additionally, they provide a variety of conveyor systems and components that are specifically designed to reduce the effects of material wear and impact.

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining the wear protection systems. Your role will involve working with various materials and equipment to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship and compliance with industry standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings/specs for fabricating components for ceramic wear protection systems.
- Utilize metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending, welding, assembling) for high-quality component construction.
- Operate/maintain workshop machinery/tools, ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Ensure precise measurement/layout of components for proper fit and alignment.
- Conduct inspections/quality checks to verify compliance with design specs/standards.
- Collaborate with installation team for successful on-site implementation of wear protection systems.
- Perform maintenance/repairs on installed systems, addressing damage/wear issues.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safety culture.
- Provide feedback/suggestions for design improvements and contribute to new system development.
- Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and relevant reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in wear protection systems and metal fabrication techniques

**About you**:

- Trade qualification or equivalent certification in metal fabrication.
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker, preferably in ceramic wear protection systems or related industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings/specs.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending, welding, assembling).
- Experience operating/maintaining workshop machinery/tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship for quality fabrication/installation.
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills for team/client collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Flexible for travel and on-site work - NOR
- Valid driver's license

**The hours**:

- Monday - Thursday - 6am - 2:30pm
- Fridays - 6am - 12pm
- $55p/h flat rate
- Perth NOR location with free on-site parking
