**About the role**:
The position of Yardperson at Coates Fyshwick Branch is to support the day to day operations of the Branch, this would include the safe loading and unloading of client hire equipment, moving equipment around the yard as well as assisting the maintenance team. Bottom line we all work together to ensure the client is happy and make sure all our work is done safely.

**A day in the life of a Coates Yardperson**:
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:

- Load and unload equipment from vehicles
- Perform general yard duties, including yard movements and washing of equipment
- Possess a basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge
- Work in and promote a safe work environment

**Your skills & experience**:
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, ideally you will have the following:

- A current drivers license
- A current fork lift licence (prefered but not essential)
- A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
- Be flexible and positive in your approach to the work
- Willingness to be involved in a team environment yet capable of working individually
- Be physically fit to allow this type of work
