**One 0.6FTE continuing position (Education Specialist - teaching only)**

An academic opportunity exists for a Lecturer with experience in Physiology and Pathophysiology teaching to join the School of Biomedicine.

We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate deep knowledge of the Physiology of several organ systems (particularly Renal and Gastrointestinal systems) and the capability to teach all Undergraduate levels.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing
- Demonstrated experience in the conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and clinical sessions
- Course coordination of large courses (>200 students) and the management of teaching and learning resources and staffing
- Demonstrated experience in innovative teaching methods and curriculum development relating to physiology and pathophysiology
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to perform administrative functions primarily connected with the area of teaching
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development within the biomedical sciences and educational practice
- Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, and ability to contribute to the diversity of our School community.
