**THE ROLE**

The Regional North Solicitor is responsible for providing state-wide legal advice, support, and representation for Child Protection Practitioners in child protection litigation matters in the Children's Court of Victoria and associated courts.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide well-reasoned legal advice, briefings and correspondence.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues to deliver client focused legal services.
- Appear or instruct in litigation involving the department in a wide range of courts and tribunals.
