**Job Description**:
Brisbane Times is seeking a City Editor to tell the stories of Australia’s fastest-growing and most dynamic region.

Day to day you will:

- Do in-depth, analytical or reported pieces on significant moments, events, decisions and generational shifts for Brisbane;
- Generate News reports giving insight into the collaboration and conflict occurring between decision-makers, major stakeholders and/or the community on issues that matter;
- Produce 'Big picture' writing that helps define Brisbane and its place in Australia, and the world, now and into the future.

Help us showcase the best of Brisbane and explore the opportunities and challenges for our city as it builds toward the 2032 Olympics

**Qualifications**:
What we would like to see on your resume:

- Relevant experience working in a digital newsroom
- Extensive knowledge of Brisbane, its history and its future, including institutions, landmarks, leaders and diverse communities
- A deep understanding of Brisbane’s social fabric and evolving cultural, entertainment and business landscape.
- Enthusiasm, drive and the desire to deliver for our audience
- Passion for innovation, creativity and business improvement
