**Votre mission**:
**As part of our rapid expansion**, we are looking for a **Head of Defense - Americas** to support our continued growth in the **defense sector (especially UAVs and ammunition).**

Reporting directly to _the _**_Managing Director North America_**,** you will be responsible for developing and executing SBG Systems’ defense market strategy across North and South America, with a primary focus on the United States.

You will lead business development efforts, identify and pursue strategic programs, and build long-term relationships with key defense stakeholders. This is a high-impact, ground-up role requiring a balance of strategic vision, market analysis, and hands-on sales execution. You will be part of a **team of 4 people.**

**Your Principal Missions**:
**Strategic Development**
- Define and implement a go-to-market strategy for defense customers in the Americas.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of defense programs and partnerships.

**Sales & Business Development**
- Drive direct sales and manage accounts across the defense sector.
- Lead bid development and proposal efforts in collaboration with technical and support teams.
- Represent SBG Systems at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

**Customer Engagement**
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in the DoD and allied defense organizations.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally to influence product development and support.

**Collaboration**
- Work closely with the US team, sales director / CEO, product management, and engineering teams to align strategy and execution.
- Coordinate with global sales, marketing, and business development teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

**Le profil idéal**:

- You have 10+ years of experience in defense sales, business development, or program management.
- Proven track record of success in developing defense markets and closing complex deals.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. defense ecosystem (DoD, integrators, primes, etc.).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Americas (and from time to time to our French HQs near Paris).
- US DoD security clearance or ability to obtain it.

- Salary conditions: Competitive, based on experience (220k$ to 280k$ OTE).
