**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with a young male participant based in Cooroy, QLD. Our participant recently sustained a brain and spinal cord injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident which has resulted in him experiencing difficulties with short term memory and impulse control.

The participant will be discharged from hospital on the 17th of November where he will be requiring support Monday to Sunday. The current care plan in place requires support for 2 hours every morning **(9:30am - 11:30am)** to assist with his personal care routine.

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $42.50 per hour
- Saturday - $59.50 per hour
- Sunday - $76.50 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
- Hoisting & Transfers
- Completing skin checks
- Assistance with domestic tasks - cleaning bedroom & bathroom

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
