**About the role**
We are seeking a Permanent, Part Time Education and Coaching Adviser to work within our Counselling Education team, working 3 days per week. This position works to advise and guide our students, answering any inquiries. The role also involves assessing student produced work and providing detailed, timely feedback.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Student Support**
- Answering enquiries regarding education requirements of training programs and counselling industry queries;
- Providing support and guidance to students who require additional assistance/ language, Literacy and Numeracy assistance.
**Assessing Student Work**
- Timely assessment of written workbooks and practice items
- Offering comprehensive and relevant feedback aligned with performance criteria
- Collaborating with administration to ensure seamless assessment submissions and participating in validation processes for accurate assessment decision
**Professional Development & Team Collaboration**
- Writing articles, case studies, publications when needed ; Proofreading training material prior to publication and print
- Participate in team meetings
- Maintaining industry currency
**About You**
- Relevant qualifications in counselling or a related field.
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (or willingness to undertake).
- Training & assessing experience (preferably in the Vocational Education Sector).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience (voluntary or paid) in a counselling context.
- A desire to work in a training environment and genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Good level of computer literacy.
Salary level: Teacher/Tutor/Instructor (Level 9) under the Educational Services (Post-secondary Education) Award 2020 which is $36.88 per hour + 11% superannuation + 17.5% annual leave loading.
