The Department of Planning and Environment is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer, GIS - Asset Data Management to join our Water Operations division. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a great experience working in an exciting operations, infrastructure and flood response/recovery space.

**About You**

As the GIS - Asset Data Management project officer you will be responsible for the asset data management systems for the Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Scheme - an $860M piece of flood mitigation infrastructure located in the Hunter Valley, NSW. You will be the project lead on asset data and system improvements, responsible for improving and documenting HVFMS asset data management to work towards compliance to NSW Treasury Asset Management Policy for the Public Sector - TPP19-07. You will have a strong background in validating and managing data and data requests, with applicants experienced in SAP considered an advantage.
