APG are currently looking for a strong production
**farm**
**manager** for our national well known and respected client who is one of the market leaders within the
**Poultry** industry.

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Poultry farm manager
- Rotating roster (5 days per week)
- The daily requirements are for the welfare of chickens, checking sheds, collecting dead’s, running computer programs, ordering feed and gas and faxing weekly reports to the producer when needed.
- Timely feeding - food & water
- Arranges with the producer for the placement of chicks and collection of grown birds, as required by the producer.
- Farm maintenance on all sheds and farming equipment to be kept in order.

The poultry industry has very strict biosecurity and animal welfare standards, so all employees are restricted from keeping pet birds, poultry and pigs and must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
