The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Officer to join our Melbourne-based Motorcycle team. This position will see you provide delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.

Your new role- Management of lodgments and repairs for Motorcycle Claims utilising multiple claims systems and processes- Maintaining positive stakeholder relationships with the insured, agents and service providers- Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if coverage applies to claims submitted- Receiving, recording and processing incoming insurance claims- Authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements and- Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and arranging investigations.

About you- Experience in a similar role within Motorcycle Claims will be highly advantageous- An individual who has mechanical or technical bike knowledge will be highly regarded- Highly developed customer service, communication and negotiating skills- An individual who is tech savvy and quick learner- Strong organizational and time management skills- While not essential, a motorcycle enthusiast would be advantageous
