**he Opportunity**
We are looking for a charismatic individual for our newly created Dispatch Assistant role, to help our dynamic and fast paced logistics team GTEK Direct team. You’ll boost your customer service and organisational skills and gain distribution best practice experience while supporting the daily functions of the team.

Your typical day will include:

- Providing general administrative support including maintaining filing and records for purchase orders and packing lists
- Processing customer sales orders from internal and external clients for residential and commercial deliveries
- Answering customer and vendor enquiries promptly and accurately including liaising with internal stakeholders to provide updates to customers
- Matching supplier invoices and receipted purchase orders and reconciling discrepancies
- Assisting with stock return credit requests
- Preparing weekly open orders reports

**bout you**
- Customer service or dispatch administration experience (bonus points if you have experience in logistics or manufacturing industry)
- Exposure to an ERP such as MFG Pro is highly regarded
- Passion and a proactive approach for customer service with strong desire to problem solve and resolve customer queries
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Intermediate computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Self-starting motivation and ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to a strong team environment
- Current driver’s licence
