**Our Client**

Our client has been in the market for around 50 years now and is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel fabricated drainage gates, ductile iron gates and access covers, trench grating and lightweight composite lids in Melbourne.

They are currently looking for an experienced **MR Truck Driver **who will be doing deliveries of product orders to their customers.

Body of the truck: Open Platform
Crane: Fassi F65

**About the Job**:

- Shift: 9 day work every fortnight but must work an extra 1 hourr per day
- Hours: 6 AM - 2 PM
- Pay Rate: $35/hr + Super
- **Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Deliver items based on customer’s requirements.
- To at all times conduct yourself both on and off the road with courtesy; obeying all road rules and displaying exemplary customer service.
- Ensure items are delivered to customers in a safe and timely manner - report any damage to items to the Dispatch Manager.
- To maintain vehicle and crane via inspections and regular services - report any issues in writing to the Dispatch Manager immediately.
- To maintain the cleanliness of vehicles - inside and out.
- To check that each delivery run is loaded with correct items and securely tied down.
- Attend inductions when necessary.
- To report all accidents whether they are motor vehicle accidents or an incident on-site during delivery - acquire necessary information at the time of the incident i.e., Driver details, car details, photos etc.
- Communicate with the Dispatch Manager regarding any issues with deliveries e.g. Running out of time, wrong items etc.
- When returning from daily deliveries, ensure the truck is ready for loading for the next day - drop sides, clean tray, stack pallets etc. - unload if possible.
- Ensure the vehicle has an adequate level of petrol for next days deliveries.
- To adhere to the company’s and any individual site’s Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- To comply with Company procedures when requesting tools and/or protective clothing.
- Any other duties as required.

**About You**:

- Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
- Appropriate Truck License (MR and above).
- Preferably with HR license and experience
- Proficient in the use of crane (joystick operation).
- Has a decent driving record.
- Excellent Customer Service
- Basic knowledge of OHS responsibilities and safe work practices.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.40 - $35.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Morning shift
