Who we are

Life’s too short for boring coffee so we quit our day jobs and started roasting our own. We’re a family business roasting award-winning coffee on the Mornington Peninsula. Three years young we’ve grown quickly and we’re only getting warmed up.

Who we aren’t

We’ve dedicated our lives to coffee however we’re not coffee snobs. We don’t care what colour your cafe is or what machine you use. As long as your committed to good coffee and good business we’ll have a damn good time together. It’s specialty coffee without the snobbery.

A bit about the role

Our core business is coffee roasting not café management - this is where you come in. We value your experience and will work closely to set you up for success before getting out of your way.

Your role is dedicated to developing and growing our café business:

- Work closely with the GM to develop and deliver café goals and budget.
- Deliver our high level of customer service for all guests new and old.
- Ensuring our big, bold coffee is dialled in and delivered consistently to recipe.
- Lead and motivate an energetic cafe team to support the role when required.
- Promote a positive culture of accountability, performance, and mental wellbeing.
- Actively work with suppliers to manage supply and cost of goods
- Promote your café by sharing relevant content for social media.
- Complying with health & safety, food safety and local council requirements
- Ensuring the site and equipment are maintained to the highest level
- Become an ambassador for our brand of big, bold coffee and old school customer service

- Barista skills dialling in and delivering beautiful coffee

- Excellent time management
- Flexibility to be a team player
- Resilience to get going when the going gets tough
- 100% accountability for your actions
- Current driver’s license
- Digital literacy
