Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

An opportunity to join the Pharmacy Team is now available in a Permanent Part role located at Nepean Hospital.

This role will see you have the ability to communicate effectively with fellow workers and hospital staff and show a willingness to work co-operatively, in a team manner, with all colleagues, promoting and maintaining harmonious interdepartmental relationships. This position will require you to to work quickly and efficiently.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Successfully completed a qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or up to the level of Certificate III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital and community Pharmacy (eg Charles Sturt University) or has qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent or successfully completed a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV or has qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment and possess good time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other staff working as part of the team.
- Demonstrated good attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous Australian Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
