**The opportunity**

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for digital transformation? Hobsons Bay City Council is seeking a dynamic Manager Digital Services to lead our Digital Services department and drive the development and delivery of resilient, secure, and customer-focused technology platforms.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Lead and manage the Digital Services team to deliver high-performing ICT services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Council’s Digital Strategy.
- Provide expert advice to the Executive Leadership Team on digital and information systems.
- Ensure the delivery of secure, resilient, and cost-effective ICT infrastructure.
- Manage major technology projects and drive effective change management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Act as Council’s Chief Information Officer.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree or postgraduate qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
- Extensive experience in ICT strategy, digital transformation, and records management.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data protection.
- Proven leadership in digital environments and technology project delivery.
- Experience managing staff and contractors, ideally in local government or public sector.
- A maximum 2-page cover letter which should outline your interest in the role
