**CABOOLTURE INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE is seeking -** **A SPORTS COORDINATOR** - **To oversee, develop and promote the sports we offer at CISC**: - **Create a fun, family friendly environment**: - **Weekday evenings 4pm onwards on-site**: - **At home Admin required during business hours** **Who we are?** **What are we looking for?** This is a multi-faceted, challenging and rewarding role. You must have the skills, interest, initiative and customer focus that will make sports at CISC a great place to be. However, we are not simply looking for someone who can manage competitions. This role encompasses so much more. You must have the personal skills to not only maintain our present level of patronage but to grow it to its full potential. This means having the ability to source new players and teams for all sports. We are looking for an experienced and energetic person who not only performs the duties outlined below but has a desire to become part of our sporting family and take a personal interest in the development of our "Club" as a whole. **What are the duties of this position?** You will be expected to maximise all opportunities to drive the centre to its operational capacity and to ensure every member has an outstanding experience every time they enter the facility. **Duties will include -** - A strong focus on our Club culture, rather than just the individual sport; - A specific role to develop full nights in all sports; - Developing relationships with the playing group through regular contact; - Organising fixtures and skills clinics; - Supervising staff including canteen staff; - Dealing with player concerns before they become major issues; - The practical aspects such as maintaining equipment and using our electronic Spawtz program. **What skills and qualifications are we looking for?** You will need to show proven experience in a previous position to demonstrate your capability of handling the complexity of this role across the sports. Ideally the applicant will have some background knowledge of the sports we offer and the operation of sports centres. **You will have -** - Great time management skills; - The ability to prioritise tasks and focus on the task at hand; - Exceptional communication and administrative skills including a knowledge of sales; - Exceptional organisational skills; - Initiative; - Blue Card, RSA & First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain) **Hours** For further information about the role, please feel free to contact Rhonda on 5495 5570, Tues - Fri 12pm-4pm. **Job Type**: Casual **Salary**: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: - Afternoon shift - Evening shift **Experience**: - Sales: 3 years (preferred) - Customer service: 4 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - RSA (preferred) - First Aid Certification (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred)
